Suzuki Cars Malaysia Brings Back Only 30 Units of the Rhino Logomark Featured in Suzuki SJ Series 41 Years Ago
Semenyih, 17 June 2023 - Naza Eastern Motors Sdn Rhd is thrilled to announce the launch of Suzuki Jimny Rhino edition, almost 2 years after Jimny's return to the Malaysian market. This special edition aims to invigorate the market's interest in Suzuki's iconic Jimny and provide an exhilarating ownership experience for customers.
To commemorate the unveiling of this new edition. a Jimny Lifestyle Drive was held. The flag-off was officiated by Naza Automotive Group Chief Executive Officer Mohd Rizal Jailan with more than 30 Jimny owners who participated in a convoy drive trom the Suzuki Cars Petaling Jaya showroom to the Malaysia 4WD Training & Experience Centre (M4TREC) In Semenyih where the Jimny Rhino Edition was unveiled by Naza Eastern Motor's Chief Operating Officer Mohamad Irwan Shahril, followed by an off-road demonstration and exercise by Suzuki Jimny instructors.
Irwan said, "Suzuki Cars Malaysia is proud to ofter these enhancements, which elevate the overall driving experience and add a touch of uniqueness to the Jimny Rhino Edition. Additionally, the Jimny Rhino Kit edition is worth RM 15,000 and will be available to all existing Jimny owners, enabling them to enjoy the same upgrades as the new variant. This initiative showcases our commitment to enhance ownership experience and offer opportunities for customers to personalise their vehicles according to their preterences."

Naza Eastern Motors first launched the Suzuki Jimny All Grip in July 2021 with a few colours available in the market. The Jimny Rhino edition is now available in pure pearl white with limited to 30 units of production and equipped with the iconic Rhino logomark that pays homage to the heritage of the Suzuki SJ series, the second generation Jimny which first appeared 41 years ago.
The Jimny Rhino Edition is priced at RM174,900 betore insurance, and offers a range of exclusive features and upgrades for enthusiasts. The highlight is the red, gray and black decals running on the hood and profile, with the words "Real Offroader" and a rhino graphic. Nostalgic features include the Suzuki Heritage grille that matches the chrome side mirrors, together with the side and front bumper under garnish. Other nostalgic features are the red mud flaps with white "Jimny" lettering, and the rear spare tyre cover with the Rhino logo. The front and rear differential guards as well as the rain and wind deflectors are installed as further protection from the weather.
